COMPANY HISTORY:
After working in interior design for many years, Susan Korts Knight and Richard Knight joined forces in the mid 70's and founded Interior Design Works, Ltd. From that business we evolved into the kitchen business because of client demand. We have had many locations over the years in Los Gatos, San Jose, Dublin, and San Francisco. At this time we have concentrated our efforts into one central showroom in San Francisco in SOMA (south of Market area).
We are a second generation family business, and excited to be helping the adult children of our original clientele. Referrals make wonderful clients because they understand our work and have seen our creativity in action, if not actually having lived in the spaces that we have created. 90% or our business is through referrals.
